Hotel Solution

In the rapid development of the intelligent building industry, the hotel as a key place to integrate a variety of functions, its intelligent transformation has become an inevitable trend. The construction of advanced intelligent management system, with the help of digital and networking technology, to achieve comprehensive information management and service, not only can accurately meet the diversified needs of customers, but also significantly improve management efficiency and customer satisfaction, which has become the core development direction of smart hotels.

System composition

Hotel integrated cabling system covers work area, horizontal, management room, vertical trunk, equipment room and building group of six sub-systems, adopts star cabling structure, each subsystem can be independently connected to the integrated cabling network. The transmission technology of the system includes twisted pair and optical fiber transmission, which provides a solid guarantee for efficient and stable transmission of information.

Main participation standards

ISO/IEC 11801: Common wiring standard for customer buildings
TIA 56: Telecommunication cabling standard for commercial buildings
EN 50174: Specification for the installation of wiring for customer buildings
GB 50314: Design standard for intelligent buildings
GB 50311: Specification for engineering design of integrated cabling systems
GB 50312: Acceptance specification for integrated cabling system engineering
GB 51348: Electrical design standard for civil buildings
YD/T 926: building communication cabling system

Special note: The relevant standards will be updated continuously, it is recommended to use the latest version. In case of conflict between standards, the strictest standard shall prevail.

Subsystem function description

Hotel network wiring is clearly divided into office network, room network and equipment network. The office network mainly serves the internal staff and non-room areas of the hotel; The room network focuses on the network coverage inside the room; The equipment network integrates all kinds of intelligent facilities of the hotel, such as monitoring and access control systems. The working area is equipped with perfect information sockets and other facilities, usually at least 1 computer information socket and 1 telephone information socket are set up every 10m square meters, and the unified RJ45 information module is used. For the public area of the hotel, it is necessary to strengthen the security protection of the reserved points, and the application of PoE power supply technology can effectively save the cable laying cost. The work area should be equipped with standard power outlets, and the panel is standard type 86 to ensure practicality and beauty.

Horizontal subsystem

The horizontal subsystem is responsible for connecting the work area and the floor wiring equipment. The design process is closely based on the distribution of information points, and the cable layout or reservation is fully considered in the future. Each information point is wired separately, and the cable length is strictly controlled within 90m. If an independent network is required, lay horizontal cables and distribution racks separately and use different colors to distinguish them for easy maintenance and management. Horizontal cables are recommended to be of type 6 or higher specifications, and the matching cable distribution equipment must also be synchronized. In view of the hotel's strict requirements for fire safety, priority should be given to high-flame retardant, low-smoke halogen free cable materials. The cable can be laid through the pipe or the cable trough, and the pipe diameter and the utilization rate of the cable trough should be strictly controlled during construction. When PoE power is used, cables with high temperature resistance must be selected to ensure stable running of the system.

Intermanagement subsystem

As the key node for connecting horizontal and vertical cabling, the cabling device must be properly determined based on the actual requirements of terminal devices. The ideal location is in the middle of the building, ensuring that the permanent link length does not exceed 90 meters. The management room is flexibly set up according to the number of information points, and the area is not less than 5.2m², reserving sufficient space for construction and maintenance. Fire doors are used in the management room, and the cabinet is made of 19-inch standard specifications, with port security fully considered. The optical fiber connection mode is recommended. LC connector is preferred and a seat belt connector is equipped to ensure link security.

Vertical trunk subsystem

The vertical trunk subsystem is the core transmission backbone in the building. Optical cable is used for data transmission, and three types of large logarithmic cables can be used for voice transmission. The cable configuration must meet engineering requirements and reserve a certain backup capacity. Reserve 10% of the backup cable pairs for large numbers of cables. You are advised to select single-mode or 10-gigabit multi-mode optical fibers to ensure that all transmission specifications meet standard requirements.

Interdevice subsystem

The location of the equipment room should be determined by comprehensive consideration of equipment layout and other factors, and each building should be set up at least one, with an area of not less than 10m square meters, to meet the space requirements of equipment installation and operation.

Building group system

The capacity of the inner side of the wiring equipment of the building group should be consistent with the capacity of the trunk cable introduced by each building, and the capacity of the outer side should be matched with the capacity of the cable introduced from the outside, so as to achieve efficient connection and stable operation of the internal and external networks.
